Intrigued by the rave reviews but reluctant to spend £50.00 on a single hair mask I stumbled on the Regenerating Ritual Trio from Look Fantastic, discounted from £56.00 to £25.00 – a perfect opportunity to test all three products while on holiday.
This is where I love gift sets, especially three or four months after Christmas when brands are keen to shift their glittery festive stock.

REGENERATING SHAMPOO
I usually don’t invest heavily in shampoos unless they’re specialised, like protein or detox varieties. However, the Regenerating Shampoo pleasantly surprised me. Though it was challenging to lather on the first wash, it improved on the second as a previous review stated. After rinsing, my hair felt clean yet not stripped of moisture – a big plus for a regenerating shampoo. It left my hair feeling softer even before applying conditioner.

The Regenerating Mask helps to rejuvenate dry, damaged and chemically treated hair so it appears healthy and restored with an instantly sumptuous look.
Concentrated in prickly pear oil, a rare and revered active ingredient, the formula works to improve the appearance of split ends so hair feels stronger and silky to the touch with a visible glossy luminosity.

After rinsing it out, my hair felt thicker and intensely treated, living up to the hype.
REGENERATING SERUM
The regenerating serum with prickly pear oil enhances shine while protecting hair from artificial heat up to 440F (230°C) and helps improve the appearance of split-ends and frizz.
This ritual with creamy textures offers nutrition and brings a glossy and luminous finish to the hair fibre.
This finishing product is designed to lock in moisture and smooth the hair. The serum can be used on damp and dry hair; useful to tame frizz and flyaways.
Despite being oil-based, the serum is opaque and non-slippery, absorbing quickly without leaving residue. It didn’t weigh down my fine hair and left it feeling softer and looking shinier. Surprisingly, it became my favorite product, making my hair smooth, swishy, and seemingly fuller. I had to check if this was a thickening product.
After one use I went online and ordered another gift set delighted it was still at the same offer price and would be waiting for me when I returned from my holiday.
CONCLUSION
While these products are on the pricier side, purchasing them on special offer made them a worthy investment. The gorgeous scent (the serum is the strongest) and the effective results make them a luxurious addition to any hair care routine.
